At Spotlightfinderz, we believe that every musician, famous or not, has a story worth sharing.

Inspired by the musical symbol sforzando (sfz), a strong emphasis on a particular note, we aim to give emphasis and attention to the musicians who deserve to be heard.

Our team will interview artists from diverse backgrounds, highlighting their true passion for music. Our goal is to provide a platform, amplify their voices, and foster a community that values artistry over accolades.

Through personal interviews, collaborative performances, and concert promotions, we spotlight the stories of musicians who may not yet stand in the global spotlight but whose music and passion deserve to be seen.

Founder’s Note

I’m Kunho Jang, the founder of Spotlightfinderz and a passionate pianist since the age of three.

I’ve been surrounded by countless artists with phenomenal talent, flawless techniques, and extraordinary interpretations. However, in a world where only a few names rise to the top, like Yunchan Lim and Seong-Jin Cho, I began to wonder, what about the rest?

Spotlight Finderz was born from that question.

I've observed that talent and dedication don’t guarantee recognition; many musicians remain unnoticed just because they haven't won the “right” competitions or performances. This inspired Spotlightfinderz, a blog dedicated to celebrating the stories of underrepresented musicians. Here, they can share their journeys, full of struggles and victories.
